Riamba's line-up came about because of the musicians’ joint love of traditional Cuban music in the Son style – the roots of Salsa.  Merging their own individual styles, the group has created its own unique sound which combines the rhythms of Latin America with European harmony and the virtuosity of jazz, resulting in compelling music for dancing as well as the concert stage.

Riamba’s musicians, who are from Europe and Latin America, have toured extensively around the world with renowned artists such as Enclavegospel, The Ghana Dance Ensemble, Stewart Copeland (The Police) as well as playing at world-famous venues such as: The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, Jazz Café, Bolivar Hall, Cubana and The National Theatres (London and Ghana).

The combination of its international musicality, energy and highly rated musicians has made Riamba one of the UK’s sought-after Salsa dance and Latin jazz bands of today.
